Giveaway Day!!!!!!!

This whole week is Giveaway Day (really Giveaway Week) at SewMamaSew.  You will definitely want to make sure to go check out all the awesome giveaways over there!


 But first, take a look at what I am giving away right here!


I saw this pattern for Turtle Trails in my local quilt shop and just couldn't pass it up...

So I am giving away the pattern and 4 Batik fat quarters (total of 1 yard)  to get you started!


Now, all of the giveaways this week are supposed to end on Friday May 25th, 2012.  But since I am late in posting this giveaway, it will be open for entries until Thursday May 31st, 2012 at midnight PDT (one week from today).   - It's only fair!

This giveaway is open to International entries as well.

I will select the winner using a random number generator and notify them by email on June 1st, 2012.

We recently had two baby showers at church and unfortunately I didnt get my quilts done in time - the tops were done but had to resort to Plan B. Would love to make a few baby quilts and have on had for the next new little arrivals. Thanks!

  8. Hi, I'm a new follower. I love Oregon and have hoped to move out there one day. I loved Corvalis, of course that was years ago but the vibe of Oregon is me all over!     My daughter. She's 15 and about 5 years ago we lost our beloved "Jenny" the tank turtle. My daughter has always adored turtles and this would be perfect for her.

  17. Good question. Living on the Gulf Coast, I know many people who would just love to have a turtle quilt. Hmmm... Probably my friend Marianne, who's totem is a sea turtle, and who now, at 52, is the matriarch of her side of the family.

  59. I am new GFC follower, number 69, I cross my fingers it's a lucky number (my reply is supposed to be 61) ^^)
    I'd make this quilt for my baby boy Giovanni, when he was only 18 months old he saw a giant sea turtle at the aquarium and litterally fell in love with it, few days later I bought him a giant stuffed sea turtle, that's still on his bed (he's 4 now)
    there's no doubt he'll adore this quilt

  67. This would be for my friend Candace. She and her husband just adopted a sweet baby boy-Jonathan- after many years of heartbreak trying to adopt. The Sea Turtles are their "inspirational logo" for want of a better term- the story of the baby sea turtles perserverance has inspired them in tough times.

They live near the Gulf and go there every evening to walk on the beach and watch the sun set.. One day, they saw baby sea turtles making their way to the water!!
